Manually upload the formoid.php and formoid_files to the host into the root of your site - AFTER you complete the steps below. If you want to try to work this inside Mobirise, make an HTML block in mobi, and paste in everything between the tags from the formoid.html file. If you chose a different name in step 1 above, these items will be named accordingly.ģ. You'll see formoid.html, formoid.php, and a folder named formoid_files. Open the folder you just exported your form to. For now, keep the default name (formoid.html).Ģ. On the toolbar in Formoid is a "Save as HTML" button click this and choose a folder. Broadly speaking, you'll design your form in Formoid and save it. Finally, note that when you use the exported Formoid form, it is COMPLETELY cut off from Formoid - it doesnt go through their servers, doesnt count against your yearly count, and doesnt get added to your stats on Formoid.Īlso note, I have not yet attempted to get this to work inside Mobirise, even as an HTML block, but I'll include what I think you'd need to do below.ġ. W3C has some decent tutorials if you don't already grok this. It is also helpful if you understand the basics of http protocol and web page lifecycle (i.e. The provider I wrote this for and tested on was GoDaddy with Plesk cPanel others should be similar. I did get an email from them last week about a new version being available but it's going to cost to upgrade so if I can sort it with my version of Formoid I'll be much happier. On checking my version was actually about 3 years old. Sounds like they have made it easier now using the Coffee cup form builder. I'm sure it would increase sales of the standalone Formoid product as creating forms without going through servers is one of the main questions people continually ask here on the forum. I noticed in the form.php page generated the line at the top.ĭefine('EMAIL_FOR_REPORTS', this where you are changing it?Īlso do your forms still need to go through ?Ī lot of questions I know but I would also be interested how you then add it to a block in Mobirise? Seems strange that Mobirise devs never provided clear info how to do this seeing as it's created by the same team. Would be great to see how you created a workaround and added it to Mobirise. The embed codes generated all go to for processing. They never really explained in the documentation to do what you seem to have achieved. I've had this software for ages now and it seems a shame to just give up on it. Hi gerry843797, can you post a link to a demo of one of your forms created with Formoid and provide a bit more info?
